ZS 180 fuel consumption at FULL SPEED (and when parking)

I drive the ZS 100 diesel.. on an average (maximum + 30 kmh) i drive 14.5 km a liter...
pretty bad, but what the hack ... it's leased... so it's good 4 the airmiles

Besides the fact that one of us might buy the car some day ....
it's not yours!!! The fact that it is leased does not give a person a green card to just wreck the car by not paying attention on using it.

the advantage of a leased car is that they always have their maintenance on time.....the disadvantage is the people who drove in them

But is this last point compensated by shop keepers replacing every part possible since the lease company pays anyway??

you can't get diesel ZSs in Germany....but if that's the fuel consumption I would say good job diesel is cheap!
Is it a B*W engine or does it come from somewhere else? don't think Rover make their own, do they???

It's a Rover engine. All diesels used by MG-Rover are Rover engines (L-series engine), except the one used in the 75/ZT CDTi, which is a BMW engine.
